Investing in Women, Advancing Healthcare: IIS Partners with Women in Medicine®

Women at the Women in Medicine Summit with an IIS $11,000 contribution presentation

As a women-owned and women-run organization, Infinity Infusion Solutions (IIS) knows firsthand the impact women have in building businesses, leading teams and shaping the future of healthcare.

This October, in recognition of National Women’s Small Business Month, IIS is launching Women Leading Infusion Care—a campaign recognizing the women whose leadership, expertise and innovation are helping advance independent infusion care. As part of the initiative, IIS is putting that recognition into action through a new community partnership with Women in Medicine® (WIM®).

“We believe that empowering women in healthcare starts with expanding access to opportunity,” said Katie Ivy, Co-Founder & President, Infinity Infusion Solutions. “As women thrive, so do the patients, colleagues, and communities who benefit from their leadership and expertise.”

IIS marked the new partnership on Friday, September 25, presenting an $11,000 contribution to WIM® during the annual Women in Medicine® Summit at The Drake Hotel in Chicago.

The contribution will support the founding cohort of 15 women in the Women in Medicine® Fellowship, helping offset continuing medical education (CME) costs and expand access to professional development opportunities. The $11,000 gift also carries special significance as IIS celebrates its 11th anniversary in October—connecting more than a decade of growth with an investment in the next generation of women in healthcare.

“This contribution reflects our shared commitment to helping women in healthcare build careers on their own terms,” said Dr. Shikha Jain, Founder, Women in Medicine®. “When we invest in women, the impact extends to their patients, their teams, and their communities.”

Support of the Fellowship is just the beginning. IIS and WIM® are exploring additional opportunities to bring their organizations and communities together through future initiatives centered on shared priorities in leadership, education, mentorship and advancing women in healthcare.

For IIS, Women Leading Infusion Care is about more than recognition. It is an opportunity to celebrate the women making an impact today while investing in those who will help shape healthcare tomorrow.
