Infinity Infusion Solutions Named Finalist for D Magazine’s D CEO 2026 Excellence in Healthcare Awards

Infinity Infusion Solutions (IIS) has been named a finalist in D CEO’s 2026 Excellence in Healthcare Awards in the Outstanding Healthcare Organization category.

The recognition is especially meaningful for IIS as a North Texas-based organization with a national reach. As the company approaches its 11th anniversary, IIS now serves more than 2,700 member infusion sites across all 50 states, supporting providers as they navigate the financial, operational and reimbursement complexities of infusion care.

Since its founding in 2015, IIS has remained focused on strengthening independent infusion practices so patients can continue receiving the therapies they need from trusted providers in accessible settings close to home.

“Being named a finalist for Outstanding Healthcare Organization is especially meaningful because it reflects the mission that has guided IIS from the beginning,” said Tamra Townsend, CEO and Co-Founder of Infinity Infusion Solutions. “We built IIS around a simple belief: independent providers should be able to remain independent, and patients should be able to receive the therapies they need from providers they know and trust. More than a decade later, that belief still drives every decision we make. To have the work our team and the providers we serve recognized here in North Texas is an incredible honor.”

Built Differently to Support Independent Infusion Care

IIS was founded by Tamra Townsend and Katie Ivy, President, COO and Co-Founder, with a different vision for healthcare purchasing and provider support.

Independent of the healthcare supply chain by design, IIS is positioned to advocate for providers without being tied to a distributor or manufacturer. Its work extends beyond negotiated drug pricing to include strategic contracting, operational guidance, reimbursement and market insights, technology resources, education and advocacy designed to support sustainable buy-and-bill care.

That model reflects a belief that a strong independent infusion sector is essential to preserving patient choice, continuity of therapy and reliable access to care.

“As the infusion landscape becomes more complex, providers need more than a purchasing contract,” said Ivy. “They need a partner that understands the realities of operating an infusion practice and how those challenges can affect the patients they serve. This honor belongs to our entire team and to the providers and industry partners who have trusted IIS to work alongside them.”

A Meaningful North Texas Recognition

D CEO’s Excellence in Healthcare Awards recognize leaders and organizations making an impact on healthcare and the North Texas economy. More than 200 nominations were submitted for the 2026 program, with 77 finalists selected across award categories.

IIS is one of five finalists in the Outstanding Healthcare Organization category.

The 2026 finalists will be featured in D CEO’s December issue and recognized at the Excellence in Healthcare Awards event on December 10, when winners will be announced.

As IIS enters its next chapter, the organization remains focused on advancing a stronger, more sustainable future for independent infusion care and the patients it serves.
