Tamra Townsend is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Infinity Infusion Solutions (IIS) where she leads the companys vision to protect and strengthen independent infusion providers nationwide while advancing a more connected, accessible, and patient-centered model of care. Known for her visionary leadership and unconventional thinking, Tamra has been instrumental in pioneering innovative programs and initiatives that have redefined how providers operate and compete in a complex healthcare landscape.

With deep expertise in specialty drug distribution and a strategic focus on optimizing operations, Tamra is dedicated to supporting providers through advocacy, transparency, and long-term collaboration. Her work is grounded in a clear purpose: ensuring patients maintain access to the therapies they need.

Tamra co-founded IIS in 2015 alongside Katie Ivy, whom she met while working in the infusion industry at ASD Healthcare. Together, they recognized critical gaps in support for independent providers navigating rising drug costs, shrinking reimbursement, and increasing operational complexity—and set out to build a more aligned, strategic approach.

Her leadership is rooted in a strong understanding of the industry’s fragmentation and the need for greater connectivity across stakeholders. As she explains, “every party in the industry is very siloed with their thinking and what we haven’t seen a lot of is connectivity throughout the industry,” a gap she has worked to close by bringing providers, manufacturers, and partners together in more meaningful ways.

Under her leadership, IIS has grown into a national, solutions-driven organization supporting more than 2,600 member infusion sites across the country. Her ability to challenge conventional thinking and push beyond traditional models has positioned IIS as a leader in the space—often developing programs and strategies that others now seek to emulate.
